Heather Laffely, Studio Owner and Instructor, B.A. Women and Gender Studies, YT-200 Trauma-Informed trained, Yin Yoga Certified, Chair/Wall Yoga, Fiesta Fitness, Fiesta Gold, Buti Yoga, POUND Fitness
Heather started at the studio as a student, was certified as a Fiesta instructor in 2016 and became the studio owner at the start of 2018. Her love for rhythm and movement has been an inspiration throughout her life as a dancer, former deejay and movement enthusiast.
She is passionate about the joy and wellness that dance and movement creates. Heather teaches Fiesta Fitness dance-fitness and POUND fitness classes. She also teaches various Yoga classes, Including Classes for those in early/Recovery.
Heather has enjoyed yoga since 1996, when she took a class offered at her college, held in a beautiful little campus chapel. She enjoyed the serenity created by connecting body to breath and was drawn in by the movements and shapes of the postures. After many pre-natal and mama-and- baby classes, over the years of raising her five children, Heather’s practice and study deepened. She received her YT-200 through the Maine YogaFest School of Scarborough Yoga. She is trained in Vinyasa, Yin, Gentle, Chair and Trauma-Informed Yoga, and is also a certified Buti Yoga instructor.
Heather’s classes are creative and inviting, Blending her passion for body movement with a Subtle Body awareness. Heather welcomes All bodies and All levels to her classes.
Tony brings his energy and passion to every class he teaches at the studio. He is the creator of and instructor of Fiesta Fitness and Meditdance. You will see his love of dance and his students in every move!
